Dr. Malik has been a dedicated small animal veterinarian in North America since 2005. He built and ran multiple practices in Canada before moving to Florida, and then to Maryland. He is a proud husband and father of three. Dr. Malik is passionate about family time, culinary adventures, and his cat Ruby.
From herding sheep with his dog Moti in rural Pakistan to becoming a vet tech at Grove Center Veterinary Hospital (joined Sept. 2024), Mian’s colorful journey blends international veterinary training and business expertise. Raised on a farm, his lifelong passion for animal care drives his work.
Veterinary assistant by day, Montgomery College student by night! Cristal has grown up right here in Gaithersburg and has been part of the GCVH team since 2022. You can catch her enjoying walks with her German shepherd named Rocky or watching her favorite tv shows and movies.
Javi’s path to veterinary medicine began in El Salvador, where watching his grandfather care for farm animals with compassion inspired his belief that happy animals lead to happier humans—and sparked his future career.
Jedi Sy’s journey into veterinary medicine began long before setting foot in a clinic. As a child, Jedi dreamed of becoming a veterinarian—an ambition sparked at just three years old and fueled by a deep, lasting connection with animals. By age nine, Jedi was caring for birds at home and, in 2015, began volunteering at a local cat adoption center—a commitment that continues to this day.
